[su_spoiler title=”What is the process? How do I do this?” icon=”plus-square-1″] The sequence of events is as follows:

  1. Book your session and pay [su_tooltip position=”north” rounded=”yes” size=”1″ title=”Definition” content=”Session fee pays for work on the day of the shoot and time to edit photos for Order Session”][su_highlight background=”#fcfca4″]Session Fee[/su_highlight][/su_tooltip].
  2. Initial consultation.
  3. Photoshoot!

[su_spoiler title=”What should I do if I’m self-conscious?” icon=”plus-square-1″] We can talk about that during the initial consultation. That’s a very natural reaction to being in front of the camera, and I have to admit feeling the same way when I’m photographed. However, most people start to feel comfortable after the first 10 minutes of their session. I pride myself on fun, laughing sessions. I also give constant verbal instruction and encouragement during posing.[/su_spoiler]

[su_spoiler title=”What if I don’t know how to pose?” icon=”plus-square-1″] You’re in luck because I demonstrate all poses. I also talk you through the pose so you have a very clear idea what I’m looking for. I will also have some Pinterest photos to show you visually what I envision. [/su_spoiler]

[su_spoiler title=”What happens to my photos after you’ve delivered my products? Will they be published?” icon=”plus-square-1″] None of your photos will ever be published without your express written permission. You can read more about it in my privacy policy. [/su_spoiler]

[su_spoiler title=”Will I get to see all the photos you took at my session?” icon=”plus-square-1″] No, you’ll only see the images I’ve selected as final edits. A typical session can result in up 500 images. Culling them down to the very best 30 images takes a lot of time (often 2 or more hours) and professional expertise. We also find that clients feel overwhelmed when seeing too many photos, especially if some look similar. If you’ve opted to hire me for your session, then I can only hope it’s because you trust me to show you in your best light, and that includes picking the right photos.[/su_spoiler]

[su_spoiler title=”How quickly can I see the final edits?” icon=”plus-square-1″] On average it takes approximately a week to pick and edit the best images. If they’re ready sooner, I will most certainly contact you to schedule an Order Session.[/su_spoiler]

[su_spoiler title=”How much editing can/will you do?” icon=”plus-square-1″] With each photo, I’ll do some basic color and exposure adjustments. Then I remove anything that’s temporary (pimples, scratches, crease impressions). I’ll also do a little skin smoothing because the camera sees far more detail than our eyes do. Then I apply my artistic style to each photo individually.

I don’t “make people skinny” or eliminate natural aged-based wrinkles. I may minimize wrinkles, but I won’t eliminate them. Your boudoir session is supposed to make you feel beautiful, not encourage self-criticism and self-consciousness. These pictures are meant to portray you as if it’s your best day–hair, make up….everything![/su_spoiler]

[su_spoiler title=”Great! How soon will I receive my products?” icon=”plus-square-1″] My standard turnaround time is within two weeks of your Order Session, but if you need them sooner, I offer Expedited Service for a nominal fee. I strongly recommend if you need your products for a specific date that you book your session at least a month before so we have plenty of time to get the products printed and delivered. If for any reason your products won’t be delivered within the two week period (e.g., delivery delays due to weather), I will contact you as soon as I know of the delay.[/su_spoiler]
